Workshop Options
-
Generosity 101- Dale Bliss
“Generosity simply means “readiness in giving.” We
know that giving is a supernatural strategy that the
Almighty God used to accomplish everything from creation to
salvation. When Christians apply personal readiness
to this supernatural strategy amazing things happen.
Discover how the generosity can liberate you, your family
and your church!”
-
Ministry 101- Deb Bryant
Showing God's love in a practical way! Outreach and
practical ways to do it!
-
Technology 101- Seth Ross
Do
the terms Podcasting, Graphic Design, Video Conversion,
Media Presentation, Web Hosting, and Audio Editing
intimidate you? Well, the cookies have been put on the
bottom shelf. Even small churches can create, graphics,
websites, videos, & podcasts that appear as professional as
any "big" church in town. And it can be done a small church
budget. It's just a matter of knowing where to look for the
right tools. Come find out what's possible for your church.
-
Jewish History 101- Bob See
Thirty-eight (38) lessons on the "Crash Course in Jewish
History" by Rabbi Ken Spiro. We will be listening to one of
the lectures on the introduction by the Rabbi Spiro as it
was given and recorded in Jerusalem. For those who are
interested in completing the series I have purchased the
recorded lectures and will be providing additional lessons
without charge to you. This will give you a chance to hear
and read the history of the Jews from a Jewish stand point
and understanding. Do we view Jewish history as they do?
Rabbi Spiro does not necessarily want you to remember dates
but is interested in you learning life as God wants you to
live it.
-
Healthy Pastors 101- Gary Burnham
Pastors…How do you stay healthy—spiritually, physically,
emotionally, and otherwise? Church members…How can you
nurture and encourage your pastor’s health?
-
Bible College History 101- David Krogh
The Bible Training Class (the forerunner to Oregon/Atlanta
Bible College) was started in 1923 and continued until
1932. This class will give an overview of the organizing of
the class, the leadership, the curriculum, the students,
what life was like, interesting antidotes, and an analysis
of the impact the class had on the Church of God.
-
Healthy Churches 101- Greg Demmitt
"Ever get the idea that nothing that is supposed to grow a
church will work for yours? There's a good reason for that:
it doesn't work for most churches. In the Bible, churches
aren't told to grow, they're told to function properly, to
be healthy. This class will look at the eight best signs of
church health and how every church, regardless of size, can
be healthier."
