Malcolm G. McLeod, 82, (4/7/06). He was a noted botany
professor and native plant preservation advocate. He made
significant contributions as an advocate for the documentation and
protection of California's native flora. His father, Norman
McLeod, was pastor of the Los Angeles Church of God. He leaves two
daughters, Cynthia (Keith) Huffer and Nisan McLeod. Fonthill,

Howard D. J. Shute, 78, (3/14/06).
Howard was a fourth generation member of the Glad Tidings Church.
He was an elder and chairman of the church Board.
He had served as President and Vice President of the
Northeast Conference. He also served on the General Conference Board
of Directors, as trustee for the Canadian Development Fund, and as a
member of the Ministerial Recognition Board and the Investment Fund
Board. Services were
conducted by his son-in-law, Pastor Michael Brown.

Jones Mattison (1/16/06), long time member and was active in youth
work for over 40 years. A memorial service was conducted by
Pastor Mike Montgomery. Robert “Bob” Scott Ballard (2/6/06). He
was very active in the Church Media Ministry and was a former
deacon. He served as Vice President of the Atlanta Bible College
Foundation in Morrow, GA. A memorial service was conducted by Pastor
Mike Montgomery. Memorial gifts may be sent to Atlanta Bible College
for the special scholarship fund in memory of Bob and Melody
Ballard, and Martha Mattison. Virginia Cool
