Joe is a 1970 graduate of Oregon
Bible College. In addition to his teaching duties Joe also serves as
Academic Dean. He served as pastor of churches in
Front Royal, VA and Glendale, CA. He joined the ABC staff in 1991.
He has graduate degrees from Arizona State University and Fuller
Theological Seminary. Joe received his Doctor of Ministry
degree (D.Min) from Columbia Theological Seminary.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
This
course is designed to encourage quality leadership and
administration in the Lord’s work.
It will be using two texts, The Top Ten Mistakes Leaders
Make, and The Habits of Highly Effective Churches..
Obviously, we will be citing biblical examples of leadership
and asking the student to participate in discovering his or her
qualities of leadership.

MEMORY VERSES
Bible Verses will be given with each
principle within the context of the Mistakes leaders make, and the
Habits of Highly Effective Churches.
MID-TERM & FINAL:
They will be multiple choice, some
short answer essay. If done verbally, time will be allowed for both
the mid-term and the final in the conversations with the professor.
Testing will be done for distance learners to fit each situation.
These may be done by email or other methods.
