Joe is a 1970 graduate of Oregon Bible College. In addition
to his teaching duties Joe also serves as Academic Dean. He
served as pastor of churches in Front Royal, VA and
Glendale, CA. He joined the ABC staff in 1991. He has
graduate degrees from Arizona State University and Fuller
Theological Seminary. Joe received his Doctor of Ministry
degree (D.Min) from Columbia Theological Seminary.
M362 New Testament Preaching- 3 hrs.
This is a basic course in homiletics/preaching that
primarily involves preaching at least 3 sermons, hence the
term, laboratory experience. It attempts to give the
individual the biblical basis for preaching based on New
Testament terminology... Kerusso, I cry out,
proclaim, preach; Euangelizo, I preach the good
news, etc. The primary objective is to practice preaching
in a practical way, but also to study two basic books on
preaching.
